Yījīng huìjiě 醫經會解

An Integrative Explication of the Medical Classics by 鄧景儀 Dèng Jǐngyí ( Yúnlǚ 雲侶, late-Míng physician of Xīnchéng 新城, Líchuān 黎川, Jiāngxī).

About the work

A short late-Míng exposition of the Huángdì nèijīng by Dèng Jǐngyí of the Xūjiāng 旴江 medical lineage (Jiāngxī). The work transmits the oral teachings of Jiāng Méi 江梅 on the Nèijīng and was first printed in Chóngzhēn 6 / 1633; an alternative title Yījīng yìyǔ 醫經臆語 (“Personal Reflections on the Medical Classics”) is attested in some catalogs. The work is one of the principal extant Xū-jiāng-school Nèijīng exegetical texts and is distinctive for preserving a Jiāngxī regional reading of the Sùwèn / Língshū in a period otherwise dominated by Zhū Dānxī’s followers and the later Lǐ Zhōngzǐ Sōngjiāng school.

Prefaces

The hxwd _001.txt (no _000.txt) is header-only — only the title-bar is preserved in the surviving digital transcription. The 1633 dating and the connection to Jiāng Méi must be reconstructed from external bibliography.

Abstract

Dèng Jǐngyí’s dates are not securely fixed; the 1633 editio princeps date is the only firm anchor. The Xūjiāng 旴江 medical lineage to which Dèng belonged was the dominant Jiāngxī regional school of the late Míng, distinct from both the Jiāngnán Dānxī tradition and the later Sōngjiāng / Sūzhōu schools. Not in CBDB.

The work was preserved through Japanese imprint and repatriated via the hxwd series.
