About the work
A mid-Míng general clinical compendium by Fù Zī, a Yìwū physician and disciple of Yú Tuán 虞摶 in the Dānxī tradition. First printed in Zhèngdé 11 / 1516 (cyclical bǐngzǐ 丙子). The work covers the full range of clinical practice — internal medicine, wàikē 外科 (surgery), gynaecology, paediatrics, traumatology, ENT, ophthalmology — with characteristic late-Yú-Tuán-school emphasis on:

Pulse-diagnosis as the prognostic criterion: each clinical category is keyed to the yìzhì / nánzhì / sǐshēng 易治難治死生 (easy-to-treat / hard-to-treat / life-or-death) pulse-pattern.

Systematic formula-administration: the work foregrounds the zhìfǎ 製法 (preparation method), jìliàng 劑量 (dosage), fúyào shíjiān 服藥時間 (timing of administration), and fúfǎ 服法 (mode of administration) for each formula.

Eight-category Shānghán biàn 辨: an early systematisation of Zhāng Zhòngjǐng’s Shānghán lùn under the biǎolǐ xūshí yīnyáng hánrè 表裏虛實陰陽寒熱 eightfold bāgāng 八綱 schema, which became standard in later MíngQīng practice.

The hxwd _001.txt is header-only and does not transcribe the body or prefatory matter. The 1516 editio princeps is preserved in the Shanghai Library and was reproduced in facsimile by the Zhōngyī gǔjí chūbǎnshè 中醫古籍出版社 in 1995.
Abstract
The 1516 Zhèngdé bǐngzǐ dating is established by the editio princeps colophon and is not in dispute. Fù Zī was a documented mid-Míng disciple of Yú Tuán 虞摶 (1438 – c. 1517), the Yì-wū-based Dān-xī-school synthesiser; the Xīnkān yīxué jíchéng is one of the principal early-Míng Dān-xī-school clinical compendia. Modern scholarship (cgl.org.cn study, “Xīnkān yīxué jíchéng de zhěnglǐ yǔ yánjiū”) confirms the authorship and provides detailed textual analysis.

Translations and research
No European-language translation of the Xīn-kān yī-xué jí-chéng located. The principal modern Chinese study is the cgl.org.cn 1990s study, Xīn-kān yī-xué jí-chéng de zhěng-lǐ yǔ yán-jiū. Other points of interest
The work’s eightfold biǎolǐ xūshí yīnyáng hánrè systematisation of Shānghán clinical patterns — known later as the bāgāng biànzhèng 八綱辨證 — is one of the principal pedagogical innovations of the early-Míng post-Dān-xī tradition, and is the textual antecedent of the eight-category biànzhèng doctrine that became standard in late-Imperial and modern TCM.
