Liáng Jì 涼記
Record of Liang by 張諮
About the work
Liáng Jì 涼記 (also titled Zhāng Zī Liáng Jì 張諮涼記) is a jíyìběn reconstruction of a lost record of the Qián Liáng 前涼 state (314–376 CE), which controlled the Gānsù corridor from its capital at Gūzāng 姑臧 (modern Wǔwēi 武威). The author, Zhāng Zī 張諮, was a contemporary observer of the Liáng regime. The surviving fragments are very brief.

Abstract
Qián Liáng was founded by Zhāng Guǐ 張軌, a Jin provincial governor who maintained de facto independence in the northwestern Hexi corridor during the collapse of the Western Jin. The Zhāng 張 clan ruled the region through nine rulers over sixty years, preserving Chinese literary and Buddhist culture at a time when the north was in chaos. The Suí Shū 隋書 bibliography records Zhāng Zī’s Liáng Jì in 8 juǎn. The surviving fragments are very few — only a handful of lines recovered from Táng-Sòng citations. They cover administrative matters and brief political notices. The text was lost after the Táng.
