Xiàozǐ Zhuàn 孝子傳 by Wáng Xīn 王歆 is a jíyìběn reconstruction of a lost collection of filial son biographies. The surviving fragments are very few — only a handful of lines — but represent a separate compilation from those of better-known authors in the genre such as 蕭廣濟 (KR4k0396).

Abstract
Wáng Xīn is otherwise obscure; the Suí Shū 隋書 bibliography records a Xiàozǐ Zhuàn attributed to him. The surviving fragments include brief tales of filial devotion, recovered from the Tàipíng Yùlǎn 太平御覽 and other standard sources.
