About the work

Abstract
The best-known Lingling native was probably Jiǎng Wǎn 蔣琬, the successor to Zhūgé Liàng 諸葛亮 as chief minister of Shǔ-Hàn. The surviving fragments preserve biographical notices on a handful of Lingling worthies, drawn from Táng and Sòng citations. The text was lost after the Táng.
