Abstract
T180 falls within Dharmarakṣa’s Cháng’ān-period activity (c. 285–311). The Indic source is unidentified. The narrative-frame — a past-world Buddha’s alms-round, used as a vehicle to introduce karmic-narrative and bodhisattva-aspiration teachings — is a relatively rare structural type in the Chinese jātaka corpus.
