Abstract
T218 falls within Dānapāla’s documented Northern-Sòng translation period (980–1018), and most likely within his most active period 980–1000. The Indic source corresponds to an Aṅguttara-āgama-class short discourse in upamā form using royal-consecration imagery as a vehicle for bodhisattva-path doctrine.
