The sectional-analysis (kē 科) volume of 智祥 Zhìxiáng’s three-part Fǎhuá jīng shòushǒu 法華經授手 commentarial complex (see KR6d0087, KR6d0089). Compiled by Pínjí Zhìxiáng 頻吉智祥 (1637–1709) himself.
Prefaces
The text in the X32n0622 recension carries Zhìxiáng’s own editorial framing of the sectional analysis. The work consists exclusively of hierarchical structural diagrams showing the kēpàn sectional division of the Shòushǒu main commentary (KR6d0089).
Abstract
The Shòushǒu kē provides the structural-outline navigational apparatus to Zhìxiáng’s Shòushǒu main commentary, parallel to KR6d0084 (the Dàchéng kē) on 大義 Dàyì’s Dàchéng. The three-part Zhìxiáng Shòushǒu complex (front matter, sectional analysis, main commentary) follows the standard Sòng-Yuán-Míng-Qīng editorial pattern of providing complete navigational apparatus for major commentarial productions.
