Prefaces
The text in the X35n0649 recension carries no separate translator’s preface and consists exclusively of hierarchical structural diagrams showing the kēpàn sectional division of the Yìshū main commentary.
Abstract
The Yìshū kē belongs together with the broader Sòng-Yuán-Míng tradition of providing structural-outline navigational apparatus for major commentarial works. Its preservation in the canonical apparatus alongside Běnrú’s Yìshū (KR6d0123) demonstrates the editorial pattern of pairing major commentarial productions with their navigational-apparatus volumes.
The dating is bracketed within the Sòng-Yuán productive period for navigational apparatus on Běnrú’s commentary (c. 1000–1300).
