About the work
A three-juan literary collection by Zūnshì 遵式 (964–1032) — the Tiāntái-Pure Land master of Hángzhōu Tiānzhúsì — re-edited (重編 chóngbiān) by the later monk Huìguān 慧觀. Companion to Zūnshì’s Tiānzhú biéjí (KR6d0227); together the two works constitute Zūnshì’s principal collected literary writings.
Abstract
The composition of the original Zūnshì material is bracketed within his productive period c. 996–1032; the editorial finalisation by Huìguān extends the bracket to the late Sòng / Yuán period (c. 1300).
