About the work
This 1-fascicle text — preserved in the Fángshān shí jīng 房山石經 (the great cliff-cut stone-canon at Fángshān, vol. 28, no. 1081) — is an alternative version of [[KR6e0109|Ŭisang’s Fǎ jiè tú]] presenting the verse-diagram in slightly different form, combining the verse and the seal-diagram in a single integrated layout. The attribution “Yǎn fǎshī 儼法師” (Master Yǎn) — possibly a scribal slip for Xiāng 湘 / Ŭisang, given the phonetic similarity in some Korean readings — is the title-line attribution.

Abstract
The bracket adopted here (670 – 700) reflects Ŭisang’s mature period after his return to Silla. The Fángshān stone-canon preservation is unusual: most copies of the Fǎ jiè tú survive in printed editions or as Korean manuscripts, but the Fángshān version is cut into stone — providing a particularly secure textual transmission and an early Tang Buddhist witness to the work’s circulation in northern China (Fángshān is in modern Beijing region).
The work is preserved in the Fángshān shí jīng 房山石經 collection.
