About the work
This 1-fascicle text by 續法 Xùfǎ is a diagrammatic-tabular exposition of the relations between Fǎzàng’s Five Teachings doxography and the doctrines of duàn 斷 (cutting-off of defilements), zhèng 證 (verifying/realising), and sān jué 三覺 (the three awakenings). The jiǎn làn tú “diagram for selecting from the confused” format is intended to provide systematic clarity through visual-tabular presentation of doctrinal relations.

The bracket adopted here (1660 – 1715) reflects 續法 Xùfǎ’s mature scholarly activity. The work is part of his late-imperial Huáyán-school doctrinal-publishing project. The work is preserved in the Manji Xù zàng jīng (X1026) collection.
