Huáyán jìng dēng zhāng 華嚴鏡燈章
Treatise on the Mirror-Lamp of the Huáyán by 續法 (Xùfǎ, 集)
About the work
This 1-fascicle text by 續法 Xùfǎ is a treatise on the famous Huáyán-school jìng dēng 鏡燈 (“mirror-lamp”) image — the doctrine of mutual interreflection between the cosmic Vairocana Buddha and all phenomena, classically expounded by 法藏 Fǎzàng using the imperial gilded-lion image (cf. [[KR6e0097|Jīn shī zǐ zhāng yún jiān lèi jiě]]) and reproduced visually in the Tang-onwards iconographic tradition of mirror-and-lamp arrangements in monastic shrines.

Translations and research
- No substantial Western-language translation located.
Other points of interest
- The jìng dēng “mirror-lamp” image — central to Huáyán metaphysics — was sometimes reified in the form of monastic shrine arrangements with multiple mirrors and lamps positioned around a central Buddha-image, providing a physical analog of the doctrine of interpenetration.
