This 40-fascicle text by 法護 Fǎhù (Dharmapāla, the Northern-Sòng imperial-bureau translator) and his team is the Bodhisattva-piṭaka (菩薩藏) — the Mahāyāna canonical collection on bodhisattva-path doctrine. The text was incorporated into the [[KR6f0001|Mahā-ratnakūṭa]] tradition as one of its 49 assemblies and stands among the most substantial Northern-Sòng Bǎojī-tradition translation projects.

Abstract
The translation belongs to 法護 Fǎhù / Dharmapāla’s Northern-Sòng imperial-bureau activity, c. 1004 – 1058 CE. The bracket adopted here reflects this window. At 40 fascicles, the work is one of the most substantial Sòng Buddhist translation projects, paralleling the great Tang [[KR6f0001|Bǎo jī]] and [[KR6e0010|Huáyán]] projects in scale.
The Taishō text (T0316) is established on the standard apparatus.
