About the work
This 1-fascicle text by 竺法護 Zhú Fǎhù is the Bhadramāyākāra-vyākaraṇa — the Mahāyāna sūtra on the conversion of the magician Bhadra. The narrative-doctrinal structure presents a magician (the huàn shì 幻士) who is led from his stage-magic illusions to a deeper understanding of Buddhist māyā / illusion-doctrine.

Abstract
The translation belongs to 竺法護 Zhú Fǎhù’s Cháng’ān period (266 – 313 CE). The bracket adopted here reflects this window. The work was incorporated into the [[KR6f0001|Mahā-ratnakūṭa]] tradition.
The Taishō text (T0324) is established on the standard apparatus.
