About the work
The Shèng mán bǎo kū in 3 fascicles is the great Suí-period commentary by 吉藏 Jízàng on the [[KR6f0045|Śrīmālā-siṃha-nāda-sūtra]] (T0353). One of Jízàng’s most influential commentaries, it remained the standard authoritative reading of the Śrīmālā in East Asian Buddhist scholarship throughout the medieval period and was foundational for the tathāgatagarbha doctrinal tradition.
