About the work
This 2-fascicle commentary on the [[KR6f0045|Śrīmālā-siṃha-nāda-sūtra]] is by 慧遠 Jìngyǐng Huìyuǎn (the Suí Dìlùn-school master, 523–592, distinct from the much earlier Lúshān Huìyuǎn of 334–416). The work belongs to Huìyuǎn’s vast commentarial corpus on the major Mahāyāna scriptures and represents the canonical Suí-period reading of the Śrīmālā.
