This 1-fascicle compendium by 元曉 Wǒnhyo (617–686) treats the doctrinal essence (zōng yào 宗要) of the [[KR6f0060|2-fascicle Wú liàng shòu jīng]] (T0360). The work belongs to Wǒnhyo’s vast commentarial corpus on the major Mahāyāna scriptures, including parallel zōng yào compendia on other major sūtras.
