This 1-fascicle commentary on the [[KR6f0071|Guān wú liàng shòu fó jīng T0365]] is by 慧遠 Jìngyǐng Huìyuǎn (523–592). It is the foundational Pure Land commentary in the Chinese tradition — the work studied by Tanaka 1990 as the doctrinal “dawn” of mature Chinese Pure Land Buddhism.
