This 10-fascicle commentary on Dà bān niè pán jīng 大般涅槃經 (KR6g0001) is by 淨影慧遠 Jìngyǐng Huìyuǎn (523–592). One of the most substantial Suí-period commentaries on the Niè-pán jīng and a foundational document of mature Chinese Buddha-nature doctrine.
Abstract
The bracket adopted here (580–592) reflects Jìngyǐng Huìyuǎn’s mature Suí period.
