This 1-fascicle text is 吉藏 Jízàng’s compact “roving reflections” (yóu yì) on Dà bān niè pán jīng 大般涅槃經 (KR6g0001), paralleling his Huāyán yóu yì 華嚴遊意 (KR6e0002, T1731) and similar yóu yì works on other major Mahāyāna sūtras. The genre is one of Jízàng’s distinctive literary contributions.
