Abstract
那連提耶舍 (ca. 517–589 CE) was a Northern Indian monk who came to China around 556 CE, worked first under the Northern Qí and then under the Suí dynasty, and is known for his translation of the Yuèdēng sānmèi jīng 月燈三昧經 (Candrapradīpa-sūtra, T639) and several other texts. His translation of the hundred-Buddha-name sūtra fits his profile as a translator of shorter Mahāyāna devotional texts. The text is a member of the comprehensive fómíng tradition alongside the much larger compilations in this division (KR6i0016–KR6i0019).
