A one-fascicle anonymous parallel recension of the Buddha-crown dhāraṇī — companion to KR6j0116 (Amoghavajra’s Sitātapatra-dhāraṇī T944A). Preserved in the Taishō under T944B, it gives an alternative recension of the same Sitātapatra material.
Abstract
The text is an anonymous parallel rendering of the Sitātapatra-dhāraṇī tradition — likely a manuscript-tradition variant of the same long dhāraṇī that travels under T944A (Amoghavajra) and other Táng/Sòng versions. Its preservation in the Taishō reflects the multiple parallel text-witnesses to this most-popular dhāraṇī.
