A one-fascicle (1卷) structural outline (kēwén 科文) accompanying Lángǔ Pǔwǎn 蘭谷溥畹 溥畹’s ten-fascicle Lèngyánjīng bǎojìng shū 楞嚴經寶鏡疏 (KR6j0724). Pǔwǎn identifies himself as DàQīng qīncì Yúnnán Fǎjièsì jiǎngjīng Guǎnglíng shāmén Pǔwǎn zhuàn 大清欽賜雲南法界寺講經廣陵沙門溥畹撰 (“of the Great Qīng, by imperial bestowal Sūtra-Lecturer at the Fǎjièsì in Yúnnán, monk of Guǎnglíng [Yángzhōu]”). Preserved as X16 no. 314 in the Xùzàngjīng.
Abstract
The Kēwén sets out the hierarchical structural outline of the Bǎojìngshū: the conventional threefold division (xù 序 / zhèngzōng 正宗 / liútōng 流通), with each section subdivided according to the Xiánshǒu (Huáyán) school’s shímén 十門 method. The work is the navigational apparatus to the main commentary; together with the prefatory volume Bǎojìng shū xuántán (KR6j0723) and the main Bǎojìng shū (KR6j0724), it forms Pǔwǎn’s complete three-volume Lèngyán commentarial apparatus. Composition: presumably 18th century (Kāngxī through Qiánlóng era), contemporaneous with the Bǎojìngshū itself.
