About the work
A one-fascicle Dharmaguptaka bhikṣu-prātimokṣa extract, parallel in content to KR6k0010 (Sìfēn lǜ bǐqiū jièběn) but in a slightly variant transmission stream. Both texts derive from Buddhayaśas’s translation of 410–412 CE; the bibliographic distinction between Sìfēn lǜ bǐqiū jièběn (T1429) and Sìfēn sēngjièběn (T1430) reflects two manuscript-traditions of the same source-translation, with minor differences in headings, rule-numbering, and the order of śaikṣa training-rules. The Kāiyuán shìjiào lù (T55n2154) records both as separate entries, treating T1430 as the older transmission stream.

Abstract
The two-recension transmission of the Dharmaguptaka bhikṣu-prātimokṣa is documented from the Tang onward. The relationship between T1429 and T1430 is analogous to that between T1422a and T1422b for the Mahīśāsaka prātimokṣa: both pairs preserve the same translator’s work in slightly diverging editorial revisions. Hirakawa (1960) treats T1430 as the older recension, with T1429 representing a Tang-period editorial revision aligned with Dàoxuān’s Nánshān commentaries.
