Abstract
Zhī Zhōu’s commentary represents the third-generation Cí’ēn Yogācāra reading of the Fànwǎng bodhisattva-precepts. Working within the lineage of 玄奘 Xuánzàng–窺基 Kuījī, Zhī Zhōu integrates the Yogācāra bhūmi-doctrine with the Fànwǎng precepts, treating each precept as an expression of the bodhisattva’s progressive realisation of the bhūmis.
