The Bodhisattva-Piṭaka Sūtra by 僧伽婆羅 (Saṃghapāla, 譯)
About the work
A one-fascicle Mahāyāna sūtra on the foundational doctrines of the Bodhisattva-piṭaka (the Mahāyāna canonical-doctrinal scope), translated by Saṃghapāla 僧伽婆羅 (僧伽婆羅) at the Liáng court 506–520 CE. Not to be confused with the much larger Da Bodhisattva-piṭaka Sūtra translated by Xuánzàng (T11n0310 j. 35–54).

Abstract
The text is one of the early Mahāyāna scriptures on the doctrinal scope of the bodhisattva-path. Its inclusion in the Vinaya division is somewhat anomalous — the text is thematically more a doctrinal sūtra than a Vinaya — but reflects the Chinese canonical practice of grouping bodhisattva-precept materials with related doctrinal sūtras of the Mahāyāna ethical tradition.
