A twelve-fascicle late-Míng / early-Qīng commentary on the Sìfēn prātimokṣa by Hóngzàn 弘贊 (弘贊, 1611–1685). 繹 yì “drawn out / unraveled” indicates the methodical-elucidatory commentary genre.

Abstract
Hóngzàn’s Rúshì is one of the most extensive late-Míng / early-Qīng commentaries on the Sìfēn prātimokṣa, providing systematic rule-by-rule exposition for monastic instruction. As a Vinaya specialist, Hóngzàn approached the prātimokṣa with particular attention to procedural-practical detail. Together with his Fànwǎngjīng púsàjiè lüèshū (KR6k0098), this work represents Hóngzàn’s complete dual-Vinaya commentary apparatus (Sìfēn + Fànwǎng).
