About the work
The three-juan general table of contents (zǒngmùlù 總目錄) to the 30-juan Jiātài pǔdēng lù 嘉泰普燈錄 (KR6q0010), the fifth of the canonical Sòng Chán lamp records. Separately transmitted through the Japanese monastic editions that became the basis of the Xuzangjing, where it is catalogued at X79 n. 1558 distinct from the main text at X79 n. 1559.
Abstract
A finding-aid for the parent work, enumerating the lineage positions, entry headings, and sub-heading categories. As with the other Sòng lamp-record mùlù, the independent transmission reflects Japanese editorial practice rather than distinct authorship or compilation.
