Shànhuì dàshì yǔlù 善慧大士語錄
Sayings-Record of the Great Layman Shànhuì — a four-juan Táng-compiled yǔlù of the famous Shànhuì dàshì 善慧大士 (i.e., Fù dàshì 傅大士, “Fù the Great Layman,” 497–569), the Liáng-dynasty lay Buddhist and visionary who is traditionally credited with major innovations in Chinese Buddhist liturgical-ceremonial practice (including the design of the rotating canonical-library wheel, lúnzàng 輪藏). Compiled by the Táng author Lóu Yǐng 樓頴.

Fùdàshì 傅大士 / Shànhuì 善慧 (497–569): Liáng-dynasty lay Buddhist; a visionary-eccentric figure who is traditionally regarded as an incarnation of Maitreya. Associated with the monastery Sōngshān 嵩山 and later Shuānglínshān 雙林山. Credited with the invention of the lúnzàng rotating-canon-library and with numerous miraculous and prophetic compositions.
Compiler Lóu Yǐng 樓頴: Táng-era compiler; lifedates unrecorded. His editorial work assembled the Liáng-era Fùdàshì materials into canonical yǔlù form.
