Other points of interest
The 順治辛丑 (1661) abbacy under Manchu Bannerman patronage represents an early case of Manchu-elite Buddhist sponsorship in the Sūzhōu region — the Zhènghuángqí banner being the most senior of the Manchu Eight Banners. Together with KR6q0575 (Chāozì), this yǔlù documents a substantial 17th-century LínjìYángqí “northern-monk-in-southern-monastery” pattern, in which Shānxī-born monks integrated into the Jiāngnán Buddhist circuit through Manchu-state patronage networks.
