About the work
A single-juan Japanese Tang-pilgrim importation catalog by Enchin 圓珍 (= Chishō Daishi 智證大師), the fifth and last of his preserved catalogs (cf. KR6s0116–KR6s0119). The work uses Enchin’s posthumous title Chishō Daishi in the catalog title — indicating either a posthumous-edition compilation by Tendai-Jimon successors, or (more likely) the canonical title-form adopted in subsequent Tendai-school transmission.
