Abstract
Recension VI contains substantial gāthā expansions and intercalated Dàshèng sìdà zhāirì 大乘四大齋日 (“Mahāyāna four-great fast days”) material — a parallel system of four fast-days (the four solstices/equinoxes) that overlapped with but was structurally distinct from the shízhāirì. Recension VI is therefore a syncretic form combining two ritual calendars.
