Zhōngzhù

Late-Míng / early-Qīng Buddhist monk, disciple of 智旭 Ǒuyì Zhìxù (1599–1655). Mentioned in the Edo-period preface to KR6i0099 Wéimó jīng wén shū as having lamented with his master that 智顗 Zhīyǐ’s 28-fascicle Vimalakīrti commentary was lost in China and preserved only in Japan.
