Jīnglǐ xiānshēng 京里先生 (“Master of the Capital Neighbourhood”) is the pseudonymous or legendary author to whom two Six-Dynasties alchemical compilations are ascribed:

  • Shénxiān fú’ěr dānshí xíngyào fǎ 神仙服餌丹石行藥法 KR5b0104 (DZ 420), a compendium of mineral-ingestion recipes.
  • Shénxiān shíqì jīnguì miàolù 神仙食氣金匱妙錄 (DZ 836), a companion -cultivation / dietary text.

Nothing is known of the historical person, if any, behind the pseudonym. The attribution appears in Bìshū shěng xù biàndào sìkù quēshū mù 2.36b, where the title is slightly variant (Shénxiān fúshí ěrshí bìng xíngyào fǎ). The two works reflect the typical Six-Dynasties genre of the mineral-elixir fāngshù compilation, drawing on the tradition of the Lièxiān zhuàn and Shénxiān zhuàn hagiographies. No CBDB record.
