Hé Píngzǐ 何平子
A late-Yuán / early-Míng mathematician active in the southeastern coastal region; fl. c. 1373, co-author with 安止齋 Ān Zhǐzhāi of the Xiángmíng suànfǎ 詳明算法 (KR3fc014). Birth and death years not securely recorded; no other works survive. Some MíngQīng sources conflate Hé Píngzǐ with Ān Zhǐzhāi as a single author under a sobriquet, but the joint-authorship presentation in the Xiángmíng’s own preface is generally taken as correct.
