Fóhù 佛護 (*Buddha-rakṣa, “Protected-by-the-Buddha”; lifedates unknown) was a translator associated with Dàoān’s late Yèsì 鄴寺 circle (Former Qín 符秦, c. 382). He is named in Dàoān’s preface to KR6a0157 Sìāhánmù chāo jiě (T1505) as one of the two oral translators (alongside Buddha-niàn 佛念) of Vasubhadra’s Tridharmaka abstract, with Kumārabuddhi holding the Sanskrit. No other works are securely attributed to him.
