Sēngdǎo 僧導 (traditionally 362–457), monk active in the late-fourth- and fifth-century Cháng’ān 長安 area. The Gāosēng zhuàn 高僧傳 (T2059, juan 7) records that as a young man he studied under Dàoān and later became one of Kumārajīva’s leading Cháng’ān disciples; in the early Liú-Sòng period he relocated to Shòuchūn 壽春 where he founded the Shòuchūn xì 壽春系 line of Mādhyamika exegesis. In the present-text context he appears as one of the scribes (bǐshòu 筆受) named in Dàoān’s preface to KR6a0157 Sìāhánmù chāo jiě (T1505), composed in rénwǔ 壬午 = 382 CE at the Yèsì 鄴寺.

Works in the Kanripo corpus: KR6a0157 Sìāhánmù chāo jiě (scribal role).
