Yōupóshànduo 優波扇多 (Skt. Upaśānta “Calmed by Training”; DILA Authority A001846) was a Sarvāstivāda Abhidharma master credited with composing the commentary on Dharmaśreṣṭhin’s root Abhidharma-hṛdaya preserved in the Āpítán xīn lùnjīng 阿毘曇心論經 (KR6l0016, T1551). He belongs to the second generation of the Hṛdaya commentary tradition and is placed in approximately the 3rd–5th century CE. Nothing further is known of his biography beyond this attribution.
