Liú Jùn 劉峻 (462–521 CE; zì Xiàobiāo 孝標) was a Liáng 梁 dynasty scholar from Píngcāng 平昌. Captured by Northern Wei as a child, he returned south and devoted himself to erudition, producing the authoritative commentary on the Shìshuō xīnyǔ 世說新語 — the Shìshuō xīnyǔ zhù 世說新語注 — which cites some 400 now-lost sources. His 〈廣絕交論〉 is a celebrated literary essay. He was repeatedly denied official appointment despite his learning. Biography in Liángshū juǎn 50 and Nán shǐ juǎn 49.
