Liú Yǎn 劉弇 (1048–1102), Wěimíng 偉明, hào Yúnlóng 雲龍, of Jízhōu 吉州 Ānfú 安福 (Jiāngxī). Jìnshì 1079; passed the hóngcí kē (broad erudition exam) in the Yuányòu period and was selected for the Hànlínyuàn. A talented stylist of the late Yuányòu / early Yuánfú period, allied with the Yuányòu (Sū-Huáng) faction in literary positioning. Held office as Mìshūshěng zhèngzì, Jiàoshūláng, and Zhī Chángshā xiàn. Author of Lóngyún jí 龍雲集 KR4d0107 in 32 juǎn — preserved through the editorial labour of his student Luō Liángbì 羅良弼.
