Liú Yùrǔ 劉玉汝

Chéngzhī 成之. Native of Lúlíng 廬陵 (modern Jí’ān, Jiāngxī). Lifedates not recoverable; CBDB has no confirmed entry. The catalog meta gives fl. 1341–1373.

The Sìkù editors trace his identity through Zhōu Tíngzhèn 周霆震’s Shíchū jí 石初集: Liú Yùrǔ wrote a preface to the Shíchū jí, dated Hàn Wǔ guǐchǒu (per the editors’ citation, though the era-name Hàn Wǔ here is irregular and probably reflects a Yuán-Míng-transition usage); since the Shíchū jí circulated into the early Míng, Liú Yùrǔ was still alive at the start of the Míng. He had passed the xiānggòng jìnshì but never held national-level office.

Author of Shī zuǎn xù 詩纘緒 in 18 juǎn (KR1c0032) — a Zhū-Xī-school sub-commentary on the Shī jí zhuàn, recovered by the Sìkù editors from the Yǒnglè dàdiǎn. The work is unrecorded in any YuánMíng bibliography; transmission was apparently lost between the early Míng and the Yǒnglè compilation, and revived only by Sìkù editorial intervention.
