Shǐ Yáobì 史堯弼 (zì Tángyīng 唐英, hào Liánfēng 蓮峯), of Méizhōu 眉州 (modern Sìchuān). Sìchuān literary prodigy: noticed at age 14 (per Zhōu Mì’s Hàoránzhāi yǎtán) for poetry composed at the Lùmíng yàn, where he answered Lǐ Tāo’s 18-year-old jiěyuán by improvising on the rhyme-character jiàn with the line “Four [years of] age, still less than Fáng Xuánlíng / Seven steps, not yet yielding to Cáo Zǐjiàn”. Studied with Zhāng Jùn 張浚 (who declared him “greatly resembling Sū Dōngpō”) and with Zhāng Shì 張栻 at Tánzhōu. Jìnshì of Shàoxīng dīngchǒu (1157, with his younger brother Shǐ Yáowén 史堯文). Died young, before holding substantive office. CBDB id 10640. Author of KR4d0279 Liánfēng jí.
