Míngjiāo Zhōngrén 名教中人 (“Man of the Teaching of Propriety”) is the pseudonym of the anonymous author of Hǎoqiú Zhuàn 好逑傳 (KR4k0253, also circulating as Xiáyì Fēngyuè Zhuàn 俠義風月傳). The true identity of the author has not been established. According to Philippe Postel’s bibliographic study, the novel was likely composed ca. 1683, in the early Qīng dynasty.
