Wú Shìchāng 吳世昌 (fl. early Qīng, late Kāngxī era, ca. 1700–1730), Qīng physician known principally for his Qífāng lèibiān 奇方類編 (KR3ed104) — a 27-category formulary of 800+ recipes for “extraordinary” or unusual clinical presentations. The work was current by the time of Wáng Yuǎn’s 1718 preface (which is appended to it as the Qíjí fāng introduction). Biographical detail is scant; Wú does not appear in CBDB and is known only from the title-line of his work and its catalogue traces. The work was reprinted by the Zhōngyī gǔjí chūbǎnshè (Beijing, 2004).
