Wú Tínghuá 吳廷華 (1682–1755). Zhōnglín 中林; original given name Lánfāng 蘭芳. Native of Rénhé 仁和 (modern Hángzhōu, Zhèjiāng). Jǔrén of Kāngxī jiǎwǔ (Kāngxī 53 = 1714). Career: rose from Zhōngshū shělén 中書舍人 (Drafter of the Central Secretariat) through to Fújiàn hǎifáng tōngzhī 福建海防同知 (Joint Magistrate for Coastal Defence of Fújiàn). In the early Qiánlóng era he was recommended for the Sānlǐ compilation commission KR1d0018 KR1d0037 KR1d0068.

Author of two Sìkù-admitted Sānlǐ commentaries: KR1d0042 Yílǐ zhāngjù 儀禮章句 in 17 juan (a chapter-and-section parsed edition of the Yílǐ with annotation and section-divisions) and Zhōulǐ yíyì 周禮疑義 (separately catalogued in the Sìkù). Per Háng Shìjùn’s 杭世駿 Róngchéng shīhuà: “Tínghuá after retiring stayed at a temple, deeply boring through Jiǎ-and-Kǒng’s 賈公彥 孔穎達 commentaries, composing more than ten juan of Èrlǐ yíyì” (Doubt-clarifying on the Two Rituals — the Yílǐ and Lǐjì presumably). The catalog meta separately registers this as Yílǐ yíyì but it is unclear if it is a separate work from the Yílǐ zhāngjù or a renaming.
