Late-Yuán literatus of Fùchūn 富春 (Yánzhōu, modern Hángzhōu) and a major disciple of Yáng Wéizhēn 楊維楨. Style-name originally Zǐzhōng 子中, later changed to Jiànxīn 見心 (as preserved in Yáng Wéizhēn’s mùmíng for him). Wú Fù was the principal editor of Yáng’s Tiěyá xiānsheng gǔ yuèfǔ 鐵崖先生古樂府 (KR4d0586): his sorting preface (Jílù xù) dated Zhìzhèng 6 bǐngxū (1346) records that Yáng had once composed 1000+ poems at Kuàijī, judged them unsatisfactory in old age and burnt them, and the present collection is what remains from Yáng’s later years at Qiántáng, Tàihú, and Dòngtíng. Wú Fù also has a CBDB record (id 66257) giving life-dates 1331–1393.
