Wú Zhèn 吳鎭 (1280–1354), Zhòngguī 仲圭, hào Méihuā dàorén 梅花道人 (his own grave-stele self-styled Méihuā héshàng 梅花和尚). Native of Jiāxīng 嘉興. By the Wú Zhèn self-written grave-tablet preserved in the collection: shēng zhìyuán 17 gēngchén (1280), cǔ zhìzhèng 14 jiǎwǔ (1354). The Jiāxīng zhì erroneously says he died in early Míng — Chén Jìrú’s Méihuāān jì relays the (incorrect) story of Yángliánzhēnjiā (Qiánlóng Zhāmùyánglālèzhì) opening Sòng tombs in late-Yuán being deceived by Wú’s tomb-marker as a Buddhist — but Wú was 5 or 6 in those years (1284-85) and could not have inscribed his own grave; an apocryphal hǎoshìzhě zhī shuō. Famous Yuán painter — one of the Yuán sìjiā (Four Yuán Painters) alongside Huáng Gōngwàng 黃公望, Wáng Méng 王蒙, Ní Zàn 倪瓚. Not known principally for wénzhāng; the collection KR4d0539 Méihuā dàorén yímò was assembled by his fellow-townsman Qián Fēn 錢棻 from inscription-on-painting (tíhuà) compositions.
