Northern-Sòng statesman, zì Wēizhòng 微仲, of Jīngzhào Lántián 京兆藍田 (modern Shǎnxī). Jìnshì of 1049. Rose to Shàngshū zuǒpúyè 尚書左僕射 (Vice Director of the Department of State Affairs) under Zhézōng. Elder brother of 呂大臨 Lǚ Dàlín; both brothers were students at 張載 Zhāng Zài’s Héngqú 橫渠 academy and are central figures of the Northern-Sòng Guānxué 關學 milieu.
