Lǚ Chéng 呂澂 (1896–1989) — modern Chinese Buddhologist, student of Ouyang Jingwu 歐陽竟無 and a leading twentieth-century scholar of Chinese Buddhist textual criticism, well known for his arguments against the authenticity of certain apocryphal Chinese sūtras.
